Welcome to Livingston County Community Corrections!
We are the result of a collaborative effort by local law enforcement, judiciary, government and concerned citizens who have joined together to make the best use of jail and prison space by providing rehabilitative programs for offenders and pretrial services. Each one of us knows someone, it may be a family member, neighbor, or co-worker, who has been arrested and put in jail. That family member, friend or co-worker will go though the judicial process and eventually return to your family, live next door or work with you. The goal of Community Corrections is to assist that family member, neighbor or co-worker in obtaining substance abuse treatment, therapy that will reduce the likelihood of them committing another crime or other services that will ultimately permit them to safely return to the community as a productive and contributing member of society.
