If a pet does not work out, a full refund will be given.
You have 3 business days for dogs and 10 business days for cats to get a full refund.
If you pay with a credit/debit card the refund is immediate. If you pay with cash or check, the county takes up to 3 weeks to reimburse you.
Impound, Board, and Redemption Fees One weekend in here can cost you close to $100, so please keep your dog licensed and at home!
Please note: every owner is responsible for all costs, including but not limited to rabies vaccine, licenses, impound fees and board. Below are the impound fees. Boarding fees are in addition to impound fees. Your dog needs a valid dog license to be released. We can provide that here for you.
- Boarding is $20
per night for dogs, $10 per night for cats.
If you did not have a dog license you may also be charged a $15 late fee on top of your license fee.
License fee is $10 if the dog is fixed, $25 if not fixed.
A rabies vaccine is $15.
If an Animal Control Officer picked up your dog, you also may be charged a $35 pick up fee.
1st time impound
Livestock boarding is done off site and is $50 per night.
This will be owner’s responsibility along with hauling costs to move livestock.
Owner Surrender, please call first to check on availability of space, there is no charge
TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) of feral/wild cats—Ear tip is required.
1-2 cats, $25 each
3 or more cats, $20 each
Owner requested euthanasia: $75 per animal with proof of low income. Please call first, staff is not always available.
Owner request euthanasia due to aggressiveness is $150 per animal. If the animal has bit, the animal will have to be rabies tested.
Owner requested pick up is $35 per animal. Payable to officer with a credit or debit card
Kennel inspections for New Kennels: 10 dogs or less-$100, more than 10 dogs-$150
Dog trap rental: no charge (requires a $100 refundable deposit)
Cat trap rental: no charge (requires a $50 refundable deposit)
