Commissioner Zajac began his term as County Commissioner of District 6 on January 1, 2021. District 6 consists of all of Marion Township; Putnam Township Precincts 2, 3, & 4; Hamburg Township Precinct 3; and the Village of Pinckney.
As a member of the Livingston County Board of Commissioners, Commissioner Zajac serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee. He is also a member of the General Government and Health and Human Services Committee and the Personnel Committee. As Chairman of the Finance Committee, Commissioner Zajac serves on the Drain Boards, Retiree Health Care Board of Trustees, and the Tax Allocation Board. Commissioner Zajac has also been assigned to the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), the Michigan Works! Southeast Consortium Board, and the Cedar Lake Improvement Board.
