Mission Statement: To prepare and implement the Livingston County Solid Waste Management Plan in accordance with Part 115 of Act 451, as amended. The plan was developed to meet three primary goals:
Household Hazardous Waste Page gives general information on recycling.
Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events page for information on HHW Collections (typically one held each spring, summer, and fall). Event dates are generally posted in April. Appointments are required.
Schedule your appointment on-line. Links will be added when event sign up is opened in the Spring.
Spring Event - May 22, 2021-Howell - Event is full but we do get cancellations which will open up a spot on the sign up - keep checking back!
Summer Event - July 31, 2021 - Green Oak Twp

Fall Event - September 25, 2021
Fall Sign up Link will be activated after July Event

Electronic waste collection (TVs, electronics, etc.) is done only during scheduled Collection Events.

Waste Reduction Guide
