PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS AT THIS SITE. On a scheduled event day, the hazardous waste hauler is there, items are sorted and removed from the site the same day. Solid Waste does not have the capacity to store these items safely. They must be hauled away the same day. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Site in Howell is used only two
of the three events a year in the Spring and the Fall. The Brighton/Green Oak location
is usually the summer collection event. Solid Waste has been granted permission by Green Oak Township to use their vacant lot located at Grand River and Alan Roads just west of the fire station.
Please call to make an appointment and get details on the location and what items we take as a service for Livingston County residents. Call 517-545-9609 for an appointment.
