 Siren Testing

There will be a Statewide Tornado Drill on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 1:00 PM. 

The sirens will be set off at that time and the Livingston County Emergency Alert System will also be tested.  County landline telephones and notification alert subscribers will receive the Tornado Drill alert via telephone call.  This is only a drill.   If the weather on March 27th is inclement, the drill will be cancelled. Regular Siren Testing:

Livingston County 911 Central Dispatch will be testing the tornado sirens the First Saturday of each month at 12:00 P.M. from April to October. If there is inclement weather in the area at testing time the test will be cancelled.

 Skywarn Training

SKYWARN® is a volunteer program with nearly 290,000 trained severe weather spotters. These volunteers help keep their local communities safe by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service.

This is WINTER SPOTTER Training, A little different from the SKYWARN but a great class for weather watchers!

Seating is limited to 100 people on a first-come, first-seated basis.
