Livingston County EMS employs a staff approaching 100 employees that share one singular focus: a relentless commitment to continually improving patient care. You would be hard pressed to take a drive around Livingston County without passing multiple Livingston County ambulances. Generally speaking, Livingston County deploys between 6 and 10 ambulances in the county at any one time, dependent upon the time of day and historically projected call volume. Ambulances are strategically located throughout Livingston County to provide optimal coverage and allow for the quickest response times.

As call volume increases ambulances are re-deployed to increase coverage accordingly. The goal is to ensure that at any given moment, a Livingston County EMS Paramedic unit can reach every address within Livingston County as quickly and efficiently as possible after receiving a call from our county 9-1-1 dispatch center.

All of our employees here at EMS are proud to serve the citizens of Livingston County. Whether a given situation calls for the services of an LCEMS Ambulance or the entire department's resources, you can count on Livingston County EMS to provide the care you need, when and where you need it most.
