 Initial Courses

Instructor Coordinator:

This is a hybrid course where experienced providers can obtain the training and schooling to become an instructor in their field of EMS. This course is taught by Saralynn Bush. If you are interested in more information, please contact her at:

Paramedic Program:

This is in association with Ascension Genesys but is hosted at the main station in Howell, MI. This course allows students to become the best provider they can be with training and education. These courses are instructed by Saralynn Bush. If interested, please contact her at:  sbush@livgov.com

EMT Program:
We offer an EMT course which allows those who may want a career change into becoming a first responder to find their skill set and learn how to treat people with illness or injury.  American Heart Association (AHA) Courses

We offer all of the following AHA courses on site at Livingston County EMS. These courses range from bystander first aid and CPR to Advanced life support for all ages and abilities.  International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)

Livingston County EMS also offers a trauma certification course called International Trauma Life Support. This course is for all levels of care including EMS providers, RNs, Doctors, and more. If interested, please contact Ryan Dennett, the state ITLS coordinator at: rdennett@livgov.com
