Who can ride LETS?,
LETS is a public transit service for anyone.
Is LETS public or private?,
LETS is a public service funded by federal, state, and local dollars.
How many buses are on the road each day?,
Our fleet consists of 32 transit vehicles, including lift equipped buses and ramped minivans. At peak hours we have as many as 28 vehicles on the road.
What is the procedure to ride the bus?,
Call our office between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM and a dispatcher will make the reservation for you. Reservations are first come, first served. Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance.
Where will the bus take me?,
We go anywhere in Livingston County for any purpose. Our Regional Service will transport passengers into Ingham, Washtenaw, Oakland and Genesee Counties for medical purposes. (Regional Service is limited).
How do I pay for the ride?,
We accept checks, with proper identification, correct change only, or tokens. Tokens can be purchased in advance by calling our office, ordering online, or mailing LETS a request. Tokens are non-refundable.
What is the cost for my child?,
Children 5 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult. Unaccompanied children pay full fare for their ride.
