The Livingston Local Advisory Council (LLAC) is required by the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) for the five (5) Specialized Services recipients to receive funding. The Council comprised of Public Transportation users, members of the public, and Human Service Agencies. There is a President, Vice-President, and Secretary. The LLAC meets four (4) times a year and their goals are to determine the allocation of funding between the Specialized Services recipients, support recipient’s requests for vehicles, and coordinate with LETS to determine the best overall type and amount of public transportation.
Livingston County Specialized Services recipients are Community Mental Health, Hartland Senior Center, Brighton Community Education, Livingston County Catholic Charities, and Livingston County Special Ministries.
