transporting inmates to the Michigan Department of Corrections and picking up
inmates from the Michigan Department of Corrections on writs back to either the
53rd District Court or the 44th Circuit Court. The Civil/Transport Division
also transports inmates on Livingston County warrants from any one of
Michigan's eighty-three counties. For obvious security reasons, we cannot
display our transport vehicles or discus our transport schedules. Also,
for security reasons inmates never know when they are to be transported or
allowed to make phone calls prior to the transport.
