Active Shooter Response Training

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office offers a free training program to help citizens respond to an active assailant event.

Our program is free of cost and available to public and private businesses, schools, places of worship, and other locations within Livingston County. We incorporate concepts from both the A.L.I.C.E program (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate) and the C.R.A.S.E (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) course developed by A.L.E.R.R.T.

For more information on the program, contact Lt. Jim Lynch at jlynch@livgov.com or Deputy Ray Marino at rmarino@livgov.com.

*Presentations typically run 4-hours
