Department of Veterans' Services

"I think it most appropriate that we recall on this occasion, and on every other moment when we are faced with great responsibilities, the contribution and the sacrifice which so many men and their families have made in order to permit this country to now occupy its present position of responsibility and freedom,"

 Announcements

Livingston County Veterans Services has been awarded the County Incentive Grant!

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency has awarded our office a one-time payment of $15,000 for the hiring of a full time accredited service officer!  We are very excited as we plan our trip for the National Accreditation for Veterans Service Officers this spring.  Look for us at community outreach events to see how we can help you!

"The Livingston County Department of Veterans' Services assists veterans and their families and survivors in filing claims for all federal, state, county and other benefits to which they may be entitled.  The department also administers the County operation of the Michigan Veterans Trust Fund and County Veterans Relief Fund to assist veterans and their dependents with financial emergencies, and the County Veterans Burial Fund to help provide an honorable burial for veterans and their spouses."
